According to the head of the village, Oleksandr Trotskii, the investment document published on the official website of the Kozelshchyna municipality presents a number of proposals based on the key factors of the municipality’s investment attractiveness, as well as business ideas that are most in line with the strategic directions of the municipality’s development.
“We are open to any investors who want to start and develop their own business in the Kozelshchyna municipality. We offer comfort and the most favourable conditions for the implementation of investment projects. Among the advantages of our municipality are a large number of unused land plots suitable for production capacities, a convenient geographical location, developed infrastructure and logistics routes. We are grateful to the U-LEAD with Europe Programme for helping us develop this essential document,” said Oleksandr Trotskii.
For instance, the municipality proposes planting orchards and berry gardens and starting the production of fruit and berry processing. For this purpose, the Kozelshchyna municipality can allocate vacant land plots at reduced rates of land and uniform taxes.
“U-LEAD provides expert support to Ukrainian municipalities in various areas. Investment attraction is one of them. An investment passport, as an important document on the way to the development of territories, attraction of investments and creation of new jobs, requires a careful and thorough analysis of all the opportunities available for the municipality. This kind of analysis is a pre-requisite for using all available resources as effectively as possible to ensure the steady municipal growth,” said Iryna Balybina, Head of the Regional Office of U-LEAD with Europe in the Poltava region.
