«Steps for specialists. Communal Property Managment» – is a eight-week online seminar, training, and workshop program designed specifically for professionals responsible for working with communal property.
The Program will help you find answers to the following questions and more:
- What is the legal regime of communal property?
- Who is the communal property management body?
- What are the ways of effective management and disposal of communal property?
- Lease or privatization: when and which decision is better to make?
- What are the features and procedures for transferring property to operational management and economic control?
- What are the controlling powers of LSG bodies in the field of communal property management?
Within the framework of the Training Program, the participants will gain up-to-date knowledge on the management of communal property of the municipality and the peculiarities of this process under martial law, develop skills of effective disposal and use of the communal property, as well of implementation of effective control which will increase the efficiency of communal property management in common.
In addition, this Program will allow participants to establish contacts and cooperation with colleagues from other oblasts of Ukraine.
How to participate?
100 representatives from municipalities will be selected to participate in the Training Program. The program is open for one representative from each municipality. This should be a local government official from among the specialists responsible for communal property management.

Communal Property Management” you need to fill in the attached application and send it to the email address: regops.u-lead@giz.de by 18:00 on February 20, 2024, indicating “Communal property management_Municipality name_Oblast” in the subject line.
