In the building of the police station at 9 Gorky Street in Dashiv today, you can warm up, recharge your devices and use the Internet.
“The generators helped us to set up the points of invincibility. In the summer, however, they were indispensable for the work of our utility services. Being able to be autonomous and not depend on the surrounding conditions is very important,” said Svitlana Voichenko, Secretary of the Dashiv Village Council.
Another generator is used to keep lights on and power computers, washing machine, refrigerator and freezers in the Centre for the Provision of Social Services, a municipal elderly care facility.
Moreover, during power outages, generators from U-LEAD are used to ensure an uninterrupted water supply at the communal water mains.
“Generators are critical today, when it is cold and there are constant blackouts due to the damage inflicted on energy infrastructure facilities by the enemy. It’s nice to know that our support has come in handy and is benefiting the residents of U-LEAD municipalities, said Vitalii Shvets, Head of the Regional Office of U-LEAD in Vinnytsia region.
