In total, our website was visited by 70,000 unique users in 2023. Almost 26,000 of them found us using search engines (the rest came to us mainly through social media). About a thousand of you, dear readers, learned about the U-LEARN improvement by clicking on the yellow button at the top of this website.
Here we offer you a look at some of the most popular articles of 2023. In general, the calls for our training programmes, in particular the Steps for Specialists cycles, have always been the most popular. However, here we will not dwell on them, since you can see all current calls here.
Rather, let’s take a look at the thematic articles that were of greatest interest to our readers last year.
In 2023, the Programme focused on education, as we committed to the renovation of schools and the launch of digital education centres in a number of oblasts affected by the Russian invasion together with SavEd and BRAVE. This ambitious endeavour has unsurprisingly drawn attention to our education-related analytics. For instance, 1450 unique readers viewed the analytical article about the formats of the educational process in institutions of general secondary education and approaches to them. The next most popular article is yet another analytical material exploring the effects of the war on education as well as the educational and psychological damages experienced by our children right now.
Last year was also the year when U-LEAD renewed our great tradition of offline visits that allow municipalities to learn from each other directly and share best practices. The most popular article about those is a report about the visit of heads of municipalities of the Volyn and Ternopil Oblasts to the Khmelnytskyi Oblast. Check out the gallery from this educational trip as well as the feedback from its participants here.
In their activities, the Regional Offices of U-LEAD and our experts provide ongoing consulting support to our partner municipalities. Supposedly “mundane” topics such as the specific aspects of working with local budgets in wartime, annual leave for local government officials and certification under martial law may seem quite ordinary. However, they are also going through the changes caused by the war, so discussing these topics is not always the easiest task. That is why both our experts and our readers often go back to these issues. This made the above articles score so many views.
The year 2023 was both difficult and fruitful. Our team is delighted with your growing interest in our work. We truly appreciate each of our readers and are happy every time this website helps people.
Bookmark it and share our content. May everybody have a productive and safe 2024.
